Apparently! Or so they said on Radio 4 this morning. A sharp elbow prodded me back from dreamland and the voice said "See! I TOLD you!"... It seems that some gorgeous woman was being interviewed about her grey hair to cries of "but I thought you dyed it that colour" ... The nasty colour on my head is growing out now, maybe it's time to take the clippers to it and get rid of the rest - let out the grey that is hiding below.
I went to a meeting in Ireland a couple of weeks ago, and was supposed to meet a colleague at the airport - stood there for half an hourstaring at any likely candidate - woman-in-mid-thirties with long dark hair travelling alone towing a wheely suitcase. One of these ladies looked at me very briefly and then moved purposefully out of the airport. Eventually, a phone call later, I caught up with her - "Oh!" she said. "I didn't think that was you, in your photo on the corporate website you have really dark hair!" So this dye really does have to go very soon.
